Terms of service
1. Who we are
SYNAC FLOW is offered by Khondakar Readul Islam (SYNAC.IO), Darmstadt, Germany ("we"). Write to hello@synac.io with any question about these terms. More details are in the imprint.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply when you use the website synacflow.com or the SYNAC FLOW connect service at connect.synacflow.com (together, the "services"). By using the services, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the services.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the connect service.
3. The SYNAC FLOW software
SYNAC FLOW is software that an organisation installs and runs on its own server. These terms do not give you a licence to the software. It may be installed and used only under a separate written agreement with us.
The organisation that runs an installation is responsible for it: who may use it, what its workflows do, and its security and backups. We have no access to installations.
4. The connect service
The connect service lets a SYNAC FLOW installation connect accounts at Google, Meta, X, LinkedIn, Atlassian, Canva and TikTok through apps registered for SYNAC FLOW, so that nobody has to register an app of their own. It passes the sign-in to the installation that asked for it and stores nothing. The privacy policy describes what it processes.
The connect service is free of charge, and using it is optional. Instead, a super admin of an installation can register the organisation's own apps with the providers and enter them under Settings → Connected apps.
5. Your connected accounts
- Connect only accounts that you are allowed to use, and use them only for workflows that you or your organisation may run.
- You are responsible for what your workflows do with a connected account, for example the emails they send and the posts they publish. Respect the rights of others, in particular their privacy and copyright.
- You can disconnect an account at any time. The privacy policy explains how.
6. Google, YouTube and other providers
Every account you connect stays subject to the terms of its provider, for Google the Google Terms of Service.
SYNAC FLOW uses YouTube API Services. By using the YouTube features of SYNAC FLOW, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
A provider can limit or end SYNAC FLOW's access, for example after a review. Connecting that provider can then stop working.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the services to:
- break the law or the rights of others;
- send spam or other unwanted messages, or publish unlawful content;
- spread malware, or attack or overload the services or other systems;
- get around the limits of the services or of a provider, or break a provider's rules.
If the services are misused, we may limit or stop access to them as far as needed to end the misuse. Please report security problems to security@synac.io.
8. Availability
We run the services with care, but we cannot promise that they are always available or free of errors. We may change, limit or end them, for example when a provider changes its rules.
9. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an obligation that makes the use of the services possible in the first place and that you may rely on (a cardinal obligation), and then only for the foreseeable damage that is typical in such a case. Otherwise we are not liable for slight negligence.
10. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the services or the law change. The date at the top shows the current version, which applies from the day it is published. If you do not accept a new version, please stop using the services.
12. Applicable law
German law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you normally live.
We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
